The moment we’ve all been waiting for! The schedule is here.

The document Indy_Invitational_2018_Schedule.xlsx was attached to this post.

Hey everyone!

A couple of announcements this fine evening…

ANNOUNCEMENT #1
We are still in need of some more volunteers for the tournament which is now only a week away! Specifically we still need…

1. Registration Table – for a few hours on the morning of the tournament we’ll need an individual or two to check teams in upon arrival, collect their waivers and give them their registration packets.

2. Scorer’s Table – We’ll need 1-2 people to help track the scores of the teams throughout the day, so these would need to be folks who do not plan on playing that day.

3. Friday Night setup – All hands on deck! We need as many people as possible to help w/ setup at WSP this coming Friday!

Louie will be available after the pub league matches on Sunday for questions and info about volunteering. If you won’t be at the games tomorrow. Please reach out to Kayla Wilder at kgwilder1229@yahoo.com if you’re interested in volunteering

ANNOUNCEMENT #2.
Our two Irish ambassadors for the tournament, Shane Dooley and Michael ‘Mick’ Fennelly will be running practices for the club this Thursday out at Eugene Burns Park! If you can make it, please come and get some touches in under the tutelage of these fine players.

ALSO——if you do come to this practice and you have a cooler you can donate for the tournament please bring that along so we can begin collecting them for Saturday.

Lots of great stuff going on this week so we hope to see everyone!

In place of the games tomorrow everyone is welcome to come to Bier Brewery to hangout, have some brews and watch the Pacers play at 1pm. Some folks had expressed interest in doing a brunch prior to so anyone feel free to comment below on suggestions for places to go and plan from there. We hope to see you all there!

GAMES ARE CANCELLED TOMORROW

We’re really disappointed to announce that tomorrow’s game’s are cancelled/postponed. We are trying to see if we can organize some type of Indy GAA Sunday Funday for anyone who wants to get out for some brunch together and either hang out, have fun, and/or watch a match. If you have suggestions, holler them out!
We will institute rain-out protocol and make up the games via double-headers on some of the remaining days (most likely). We will get to work on putting together the updated schedule as soon as possible, with the aim to have it out to you by tomorrow evening.

I reiterate how disappointed we are. We don’t like having to change the schedule, cancelling (let alone at the last minute), or just not getting to play in general.
We’ll roll with it, and do our best to make this as seamless as possible.
