Practice Tonight & Hurley Donations
First, a reminder to head out to practice tonight.
It’s going to be hot, so bring plenty of water and pay attention to signs of overheating. Slow down if you need to!
Additionally, fellow club member and world traveler Mark McCabe doesn’t let work travel keep him from practice. He stopped in on the Jersey Shore GAA club this week, which is a growing club with about 20 active members.
One thing he noticed was that they are extremely light on spare equipment, and could use a few extra hurleys that are in decent shape for when they’re inviting new players out to try the game.
As such, he has asked if anyone out there has a solid hurley they’re able to part with (ideally about 34", since they seem to only have 32’s and 36’s) that he can donate to their cause when he has to travel back out there next week. Not a crazy amount of hurleys, he’s only looking for about two or three total.
If you’re able to help out, please email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
